For the People, By the People

At Castledex, we are deeply engaged in social initiatives, including fundraising efforts that support a range of community causes. Whether through donations or direct contributions, we strive to make a lasting, positive impact on both the environment and the people around us. This year, we’ve taken a refreshed, people-first approach to giving back, guided by the belief that supporting charities should be for the people, by the people.

After thoughtful discussion and genuine consideration, we are proud to support two incredible charities in 2025-2026:

RUAH

A cause close to our hearts and one we continued from last year. Ruah makes a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by homelessness, domestic violence and mental health challenges. Their compassionate and holistic model reflects the values we hold at Castledex, and we’re honoured to support their important ongoing work.

The Waalitj Foundation

New to our charity family this year, the Waalitj Foundation is dedicated to empowering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples through education, employment and business opportunities. Their work fosters long-term, meaningful change, and we’re proud to walk beside them in support of stronger, more inclusive communities.

Guiding this journey is the Castledex Charity Working Group, a self-nominated team from across the business who bring energy, purpose and personal passion to the cause. The group has already begun planning their first fundraiser for the year and is excited to turn shared values into real-world impact.

Our Journey in Giving

Since launching our internal Charity Working Group in 2022, Castledex has been committed to supporting causes that matter to our team and community. What began as a small initiative has grown into a shared purpose, guided by the voices of our people and driven by the belief that meaningful impact starts from within. Below is a collection of the charities and community organizations we’ve proudly supported so far.

RAWA Community School

One project close to our hearts is our support for RAWA Community School, a remote, community-run school nestled between the Great Sandy and Gibson Deserts in Punmu and Kunawarritji. Since 1986, RAWA has played a vital role in preserving Indigenous culture and delivering quality education. Castledex donated all the furniture to help furnish the school, reflecting both the value of their work and our commitment to sustainability and meaningful social impact.

WA Wildlife

We’re proud to support the WA Wildlife Hospital, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to rescuing, treating, rehabilitating, and conserving native Australian wildlife. Their work plays a vital role in protecting biodiversity and supporting animal welfare across Western Australia. Castledex contributed by donating furniture for their new facility, including office workstations and visitor seating. This reflects our commitment to creating purposeful spaces and supporting environmental care.

Cahoots

Castledex has proudly supported Cahoots, an organization dedicated to empowering children with disabilities through inclusive experiences. In 2023, we served as the Platinum Sponsor of the Cahoots Charity Golf Day, contributing prizes to the auction. The following year, our team took on a new challenge, raising $5,408 through the Central Park Plunge. Our courageous participants Kelly Oliver, Simon Carville, Dafne Zaffaroni and Davin Bryce leapt from 36 stories high, showing incredible determination and generosity in support of a great cause.

RUAH Community Services

In 2023, as part of Ruah’s 16 Days in WA campaign, we opened our showroom to host the What’s Your Piece workshop, where we engaged with the community on meaningful ways to make a positive impact. In 2024, we continued our support by hosting a Quiz Night at our showroom, where staff, family, and friends raised $5,221 to support Ruah’s programs.

Bravehearts

In 2023, we co-hosted the “Voices for the Vulnerable” evening with EIW Architects in support of Bravehearts, raising over $6,235 through a silent auction and raffle. The event helped us reach our $10,000 fundraising goal for Bravehearts’ mission to protect children from sexual abuse.

Rebound WA

In 2024, we partnered again with EIW Architects for BELONG, a fundraising evening for Rebound WA, raising $6,350 through our silent auction. The event supported Rebound WA’s efforts to help Western Australians with physical disabilities lead more connected, active lives.

Ocean Hero

Ocean Hero offers organized sports opportunities in a highly supported and inclusive environment for individuals on the autism spectrum. Castledex has donated office furniture, equipment, and shelving for surfboards, equipment, and merchandise, helping the organization provide inclusive surf experiences for those with autism.

Tiny Sparks

In 2025, the women of Castledex came together to celebrate International Women’s Day with a morning tea and silent auction, raising $568.15 in support of Tiny Sparks WA, a cause especially close to our hearts. Our colleague Amy received incredible support from Tiny Sparks when her little one arrived early at just 28 weeks, and this event was our way of giving back.

Together, we turn care into action
