Castledex were engaged by State 28 early in the Design Development stage with view to collaborate on furniture requirements for two of Primewest’s high-profile tenancies on the corner of Adelaide Terrace and Hill Street, Perth. With combined floorplate of 1160sqm, Primewest’s focus was to create an efficient and functional space that embodied a unique design flare; and created a competitive advantage from other Perth speculative fitouts.
The furniture selected was to complement State 28’s design which leveraged assets of the building; such as its central atrium and abundance of natural light, and the distinctive outdoor atrium space featured in each tenancy. Procuring affordable furniture with a point of difference, in a relatively short lead time, was a challenge.
Opportunely, State 28 were able to take advantage of Castledex’s network of National and International partners that offer a catalogue of products new to the Perth market and within the crucial lead time. Strategic planning around Design Development and documentation to expedite and forecast furniture requirements for this project enabled the client to individually select loose furniture and workstation details with a considered approach.
Ultimately, relationships and early engagement meant on time delivery and exceeded client expectations. An A-Grade project sensationally delivered by the West to West team, and courtyard artworks by Perth Artist Sioux Tempestt.
