What AngloGold Ashanti needed

The client sought a fitout that would reflect a modern, efficient workplace culture. It needed to support functional zoning across two floors, with premium executive joinery, ergonomic workstations and a design that could be reviewed and refined prior to full implementation.

How we acted on what we heard

Castledex was engaged to create and supply the complete Workstation and Executive Joinery Package. Working closely with State28 and the client, we produced a full-scale joinery sample including integrated workstations. This allowed the project team to evaluate functionality, aesthetics and ergonomics, ensuring final adjustments could be made before full rollout.

In collaboration with CDI Group and within a tight two-week program, we delivered and installed 47 Executive Joinery Pods, which provided a refined, multiuse surround for both single-side sit-to-stand and fixed height workstations. This was complemented by an additional 250 fixed and height adjustable desks across the two floors.
