Energy Matrix Group’s move to 186 St Georges Terrace marked a shift to a bold, future-ready HQ. Designed by Creative Logic and built by Davidson Projects, Castledex supplied a full furniture package to support the flexible, layered office environment.
What Energy Matrix Group told us they wanted
The brief centred on supporting team growth and cultural shift, transitioning the business into a workspace that would energise staff and impress clients. The furniture needed to deliver comfort, ergonomic performance and long-term durability, while seamlessly integrating into the design palette led by Creative Logic.
How we acted on what we heard
Castledex worked closely with the design and build teams to supply a curated FF&E package that spanned all zones of the office, from executive spaces and open-plan desks to breakout, collaboration and front-of-house areas. Integrated workstations, ergonomic seating, soft breakout furniture and modular storage solutions were selected to ensure each area met the evolving needs of the team.
Material finishes like Natural Walnut, Oyster Grey, Bluestone and matte black offered a refined contrast to the crisp architecture. Every element, from power-integrated boardroom tables to plantered tambour units, contributed to a cohesive and flexible working environment.
The result is a confident, connected workspace that delivers a significant functional uplift from the client’s previous premises. Agile zones, quiet rooms and client-ready formal spaces come together to support productivity, collaboration and brand presence. Castledex is proud to have contributed to a workplace that reflects Energy Matrix Group’s innovation-led values and growing presence in the Perth business community.
