What Hunt Architects told us they wanted
The vision was to design a space that would serve as both a workplace and a living representation of the firm’s values. The studio needed to support open collaboration, focused work and social connection in equal measure. It was essential that every detail, including the FF&E, matched the design intent of a human-centred, transparent and creatively fluid environment.
How we acted on what we heard
Castledex was engaged to coordinate and supply a complete FF&E package in line with Hunt Architects’ vision. Working closely with the team, we delivered durable, authentic furniture solutions that enhanced the spatial qualities of the studio without overpowering its architecture.
Key furniture elements included fixed-height Avanti desk clusters with integrated power and cable management, large-format Column Tables by Klaro Design and timber Humble Dining Tables by Furnished Forever for collaboration. Seating was supplied in the form of solid timber Humble Low Stools, enabling flexibility across breakout and communal zones.
Inspired results
The result is a studio that mirrors Hunt’s architectural identity. The space combines expressive structure, layered transparency and tactile finishes to create a vibrant, functional and inspiring environment. Recognised with a nomination for the 2024 AIA WA Architecture Awards in Interior Architecture, the project stands as a prototype for future-focused practice.
