Our RAP Journey – Every journey begins with a single step.
For us, that journey began with a project at RAWA Aboriginal Community School, delivered in partnership with EIW Architects. Working alongside the school community gave us an opportunity to see firsthand the importance of creating spaces that support learning, connection and culture.
That experience led to another opportunity, when we were invited to host a series of cultural workshops with NAWIC. These workshops encouraged our team to listen, learn and reflect, sparking important conversations across our business. As our understanding grew, so too did our desire to play a more meaningful role in reconciliation.
We recognised that reconciliation isn't a destination or a single initiative—it's an ongoing commitment to building relationships, showing respect and creating opportunities. Our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan represents the next step in that journey, providing a framework to turn our intentions into meaningful action.
We're proud of the foundations we've laid so far and excited about the journey ahead.
Timeline
2022 | Giving Back
Donated furniture to RAWA Aboriginal Community School, marking the beginning of our relationship with the school community and our growing awareness of the importance of creating spaces that support culture, learning and connection.
2023–2024 | Learning Together
Hosted Cultural Learning Workshops with Acknowledge This! in partnership with NAWIC, providing opportunities for our team to listen, learn and reflect. These conversations became the catalyst for our reconciliation journey.
2025 | Taking Our First Step
Registered our first Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan with Reconciliation Australia, formalising our commitment to reconciliation.
2025 | Building Our Foundations
Established our RAP Working Group to guide our journey and champion reconciliation across our business.
2025 | Supporting Indigenous Business
Became a member of Supply Nation, strengthening our commitment to engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses.
2025 | Creating Meaningful Partnerships
Developed a partnership with the Waalitj Foundation to support opportunities for First Nations peoples and communities.
2026 | Embedding Change
Commenced a review of our procurement practices to identify opportunities to increase engagement with First Nations suppliers.
2026 | Strengthening Our Workplace
Reviewed our employment policies to ensure they support an inclusive workplace and align with our reconciliation commitments.
Beyond 2026 | Turning Commitment into Action
With Reflect RAP endorsed, we're now ready to build on the foundations we've established by progressing to an Innovate RAP. This next phase will focus on embedding reconciliation into the way we work, strengthening relationships, creating opportunities and turning our commitments into lasting action.
