The refreshed foyer at 44 St Georges Terrace is the result of a strong collaboration between Sheffield, the Management Team, IA Design and Castledex as furniture provider, delivering a refined space that blends modern elegance with timeless character.

What IA Design told us they wanted

The lobby had become dated, with furniture that no longer reflected the architectural quality of the building. The brief to Castledex was simple: curate and supply furniture that would transform the space into a flexible, welcoming environment where tenants and visitors could meet, greet, work and relax.

How we acted on what we heard

To bring the vision to life, Castledex collaborated with IA Design and Interface’s Nikki Wood to support the development of four distinct activity zones within the foyer. Drawing from our broad network of partner brands, we selected and supplied pieces from Haworth, Boss Design, SBW, Arko and Apparentt. The result is a careful balance of Australian-made quality and European elegance. Our furniture selections, integrated with Interface’s flooring solutions, helped bring cohesion and warmth to the newly designed space.

Inspired results

The reimagined foyer has seen a significant increase in daily use. Tenants now treat the space as a true extension of their workplaces. This transformation is a testament to the power of great design paired with the right furniture. It demonstrates how collaborative vision and carefully curated selections can reinvigorate a public space with purpose and style.
